Testing out a new challenge for Marksmanship Camp
I recently took my kiddos to the range to test out a new challenge that I wanted to use for Marksmanship Camp this season.
Utilizing a Savage MK II FVSR with a Meopta 1-4x optic and Boyds AT-ONE stock I had them try to guess the ballistic drop.
Firebird 50BIO Targets were setup at 75 yards. I used some offset small 2″ steel hanging from a firehose over a larger 1/3 IPSC Target for two reasons.
The first reason is so you could spot your miss and walk the shot in.
The second was in order to keep spalling from a close round from knocking the Firebird Target off the larger steel in case of a miss.
