The new Hyperline armor from Safe Life is downright impressive. It makes old school kevlar look like wimpy old rags.
The latest video runs through over 100 rounds of 9mm, some 45 ACP, .38 Special, .357 Magnum out of a rifle, and even solid copper bullets:
it's crazy thin

Hyperline took quite the beating. The comparison to that old kevlar vest was quite telling. The Kevlar instantly bunched up which would probably hurt quite a bit, but also leave you unprotected. The Hyperline hardly moved at all, all while stopping rounds in the first layer!
While it isn’t completely unnoticeable, it is very low profile as far as Level IIIA (pistol protection) vests go. And as shown in the video, you can still slide in a Level IV rifle plate if you wish. My co-workers had no idea I was wearing it for the day until I sat down and it bunched up around my shoulders a little.
Check out Safe Life’s video when they put 19 rounds of 9mm in the same spot from contact distance:

If you need concealable, high end, low profile protection – Hyperline is the way to go. You can save $99 by using my code “TOPSHOT”
If it’s out of reach, but you still need to be bulletproof – might I suggest checking out BulletSafe which starts at $249. Not near as low profile, but it will keep you protected from pistol rounds.
